Aamir Khan and his production house, Aamir Khan Productions Private Limited, moved the Bombay High Court on July 28 to challenge the show cause notice issued by the Competition Commission, after multiplex owners accused him of forming a cartel during last year’s strike when film producers were in conflict with multiplexes over payment issues. The next hearing is scheduled in the high court on August 2.
