Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, starring Jason Momoa in the lead, was released in the theatres last year in December, and the film is all set to stream on OTT. It is the sequel to 2018’s Aquaman and tells the story of Arthur Curry, who goes on a quest to prevent a war between the land and ocean. The Conjuring and Insidious star Patrick Wilson appeared as Orm, Arthur’s half-brother. The brotherly bond was explored more in the sequel, which was directed by James Wan. The sequel also had Amber Heard, who reprised her role as Mera. However, her part was largely cut from the movie because of her defamation trial against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, and all the social media negativity.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom was released in the theatres on December 22, 2023, and after just two months, the film will be streaming on the OTT platform. According to Variety’s report, it will be available on Max starting February 27. The film has earned a whopping $433.5 million worldwide and is DCEU’s highest-grossing film in almost five years after Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. It was reportedly made on an estimated budget of $205 million.
