Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama series Naagin saw success that shot through the roof. While the first three seasons of Naagin soared through the TRP charts, Naagin 4 featuring Nia Sharma, Rashami Desai and Vijayendra Kumeria failed to impress the audiences.
While the rumours mill has been buzzing with reports of Rashami Desai being dropped out of the show over financial constraints, we hear otherwise! Not just Rashami but Nia and Vijayendra Kumeria too will no longer be a part of Naagin 4. The reason you ask? While it is being stated that the Ekta Kapoor supernatural drama is all set to see a revamp already!
Yes, you read that! Not financial constraints but a lack of connecting with the audiences is what has compelled the makers to give Naagin 4 an end sooner than they expected. A certain source has revealed to Pinkvilla, “The channels and the makers have come to a decision to end the fourth season making way for the new season immediately. The fourth season did not work as expected and Rashami’s addition to the show only added to the budget constraints in this time of economic crisis amid others. Hence, after speaking to the production house, it was decided that not just Rashami, Nia, and Vijendra’s character will also be ending. But, the decision is not taken on the basis of the budgetary constraints completely, the fact that despite all the experimentations, the show couldn’t meet the expectations. This forced them to take this step.”
