Star Plus’ one of the most popular daily soaps, Saath Nibhana Saathiya has been in the headlines for quite some time now. All thanks to the musical rap called, Rasode Mein Kaun Tha.
Rupal Patel who played the very famous Kokilaben has been breaking the internet. She delivered the dialogue which has gone on to become a nation-wide hit. The show started trending so much so that the makers decided to bring a season 2 of the same.
Fans have been ecstatic about this news and are desperately wanting to hear more about Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2. But will you be willing to see the show with the same excitement without the old actors?
Well earlier it was said that Rupal Patel and Devoleena Bhattacharjee would be joining the show as Kokilaben and Gopi Bahu in the new season. However, much to our disappointment, Rupal has denied the reports.
In an interview with Latestly, Rupal Patel revealed that she had not been approached for Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2. “Actually I have heard about it, but I’m not sure about the same. Right now I’m happy playing the role of Meenakshi Rajvansh on Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke on Star Plus. But my love and blessings are with Rashmi mam,” she told the portal.
She further added that she could not do two shows at the same time. But, Devoleena’s latest social media post seems like a little hint for the fans. She shared selfies from the sets with background music of Saathiya (not the show). Fans believe that she might be back as Gopi Bahu.
Unfortunately, we all would have to wait a little longer to celebrate Saath Nibhana Sathiya 2’s arrival as neither the makers nor anyone from the cast of the show has given any clarification on the matter.
