Now, with Paatal Lok, they have has managed to get the audience talk about another series streaming on the platform. Produced by Anushka Sharma, this crime drama stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Ishwak Singh, Swastika Mukherjee, and Neeraj Kabi.

Paatal Lok managed to impress the audience for numerous reasons, but mainly because of the name of the characters. Abhishek Banerjee plays the ruthless villain name Hathoda Tyagi in the show. The actor received immense praise for his performance but there were jokes going viral on the internet around his name. Many people called him the Indian Thor. In the series, Tyagi’s character uses a hammer to attack people. Those who watch Marvel films know that Chris Hemsworth’s character uses a hammer ‘Mjolnir’ to fight the enemy.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Paatal Lok actor Abhishek Banerjee was asked what he thinks of being called an Indian Thor. The actor said that he is enjoying the memes where Hathoda Tyagi is compared with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. The actor stated, “I am a huge fan of Thor and this is just so crazy and so sweet.”
