Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal tied the knot earlier this month. The couple met on the sets of Shaapit (2010) and dated for almost 10 years before taking their relationship to the next step. But do you know, the actress inconsolably cried days before the big day? Read on for all the details.
Koimoi recently got into an exclusive conversation with the newly-weds. They revealed to us all about their initial love story and how things finally worked out. But what grabbed our eyeballs is the revelation about Shweta breaking down days before their wedding.
Revealing it all, Aditya Narayan began, “When it’s such a closely-knit event, most of the work is being done by the family members. A lot of work related to the wedding was done by Shweta herself. She designed all of hers, as well as, my looks. There were just 1-2 attires that we got outsourced. She got very busy.”
Aditya Narayan continued, “15-20 days post the preparation, we were watching TV one day and she suddenly began crying. It wasn’t even like she was shedding tears but literally sobbing. She then said, ‘I am very tired. I am not feeling like I’m the bride, it feels like I’m a worker.’ And genuinely, she was doing a lot of work. I told her, ‘it’s okay, let’s take a break and let’s go somewhere. In the end, it’s our wedding and we have to be happy. So even if some things are not up to the mark, it’s okay.’”
The couple eventually decided to go on a mini-vacation days before their marriage. This is where the actual proposal for marriage took place! Yes, you heard that right.
