Well everyone is aware of how big the reputation and credibility the megastar Rajinikanth carries as an actor. His diehard fans are eagerly waiting to witness his innings as a mass political leader as well. But here’s a sad news for all Thalaivar fans.
Rajinikanth’s political outfit titled Rajini Makkal Mandram released a press statement yesterday, which quotes that the party will not contest the local body elections of Tamil Nadu and strict action will be taken if anyone uses the party’s name, logo or flag for any campaign.
While it’s a really disheartening news for all Thalaivar fans, the sources suggest that Rajini’s party is all set to contest the state assembly elections of 2021.

In a statement, Kamal Haasan said the local body polls would not secure any advantage for the party. The party’s goal was to capture power in the state, winning the 2021 Assembly polls, he added.
