The actor, in an interview with Stephen Colbert on his show, once spilled the beans on how he exposed himself to a live audience during a play. Paul Rudd is best known for his role in Ant-Man movies and his appearance as the same in Avengers movies. Rudd has often made headlines over how young he looks despite being 54. The actor is also known for starring in movies like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Reno 911: Miami, I Love You Man, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and others.

According to The Things, Paul Rudd in 2021 opened up about his revealing wardrobe malfunction while he was on stage during a play with actress Rachel Weisz. Paul Rudd went a physical transformation for his Marvel movie Ant-Man, and while revealing the same, the host Stephen Colbert on his show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert wondered why there were no shirtless scenes of the actor. Rudd revealed that there was a scene but unfortunately, it got cut. Colbert then asked if Rudd had ever “done full nude professionally.” The actor then confessed that he had but it was not intentional.

Recalling the incident, Paul Rudd shared, “One time, I was in a play. I know it doesn’t count as a play. It was unintentional.” He continued while talking about his 2001 play The Shape of Things, “I was laying down on a bed, and I was doing a scene with the lovely actress Rachel Weisz.”

Rudd added, “We were laying in bed, and I was wearing boxer shorts, and all of a sudden, the audience started chuckling and I didn’t know why. And I realized it was ’cause I had my leg up, and I was totally hanging brain.”

To this, a laughing Stephen Colbert asked, “That’s the brain part?” To which Paul Rudd confirmed, “That’s the brain.”

In a different interview, the Marvel actor opened up about doing n*de scenes in movies saying, “I’ve been n*ked in a lot of my movies. There’s something inherently funny about the n*ked male body, particularly mine.”

Rudd added, “Ryan Reynolds, sure, it makes sense why he’d strip down. But not me. I shouldn’t be allowed to.” Rudd also said that he is a big fan of male n*dity, explaining, “A male a*s shot is the cheapest and best laugh ever. But it’s mortifying to do. When I showed my butt in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, all I could think was, ‘This is going to be up on all those big screens.’ I was very self-conscious about doing it.”
