Joss Whedon had replaced Zack Snyder in Justice League. Zack Snyder had stopped working on the film after his daughter, Autumn’s suicide in 2017. Now that Zack Snyder is coming back with his version of the film, Snyder’s Cut of Justice League, fans are super excited.

At a panel at Justice Con on Saturday, Zack Snyder was asked about Joss Whedon as his replacement and what he thought of it. He was joined by his wife, Debbie Snyder.

The director said, “It certainly was our decision to leave the movie, in the light of what happened. And was it specifically our call on who would do it, and all that? It was before the committee. It was a thing that was … we were pretty distracted at the time.”
