Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, had reportedly broken up with Pete Davidson earlier this year. Earlier this week, the model was spotted with the Kissing Booth actor Jacob Elordi on a dinner. Since then rumours about them dating are doing the rounds on social media.
While their dating rumours are rife, reports claim that they enjoyed an outdoor meal earlier this week and that the pair have been good friends for a while now. During their outing, the supermodel opted for a casual look including denim jeans and a black-top. She also spotted holding her dog and sporting a mask.
However, a source told E!News, “Jacob Elordi definitely has an interest in dating Kaia Gerber, but there is nothing serious going on there. They have many mutual friends and have hung out many times in the past. They both have very chill personalities and similar interests. Jacob makes Kaia laugh and her family adores him.”
The source had also revealed to the publication that it’s actually Kaia Gerber who is keeping things friendly for now between them. “There is a flirtation between the two. She has told friends she is single and is only having fun and hanging out with people,” said the source.
While the things appear to be pretty platonic, as love stories go, anything is possible in the future. Meanwhile, Jacob has been in the headlines for romancing Zendaya and these sudden rumours with Kaia have come as a shock to all their fans.
Apart from the dating rumours, both actors Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have been using their voices to raise awareness on issues they are passionate about during the quarantine period. Both have also shown their support for the Black Lives Matter movement on Instagram.
Kaia has gone one step further and attended protests alongside a familiar face.
