Iranian Instagram blogger, Fatemeh Khishvand, who rose to fame with her zombie avatar of Hollywood beauty, Angelina Jolie, has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The lookalike who was sentenced to jail in 2019, has reportedly led to spread of the disease at large.

The news has been confirmed by American Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI), who have revealed that the Zombie Angelina Jolie is currently been hospitalised at Sina Hospital in Tehran, and is on a ventilator. Furthermore, the human rights lawyer Payam Derafshan has revealed that there have been multiple pleas filed for requests to release Fatemeh Khishvand on bail, but it has been rejected multiple times.

The lawyer revealed about the same to Sputnik news as, “We find it unacceptable that this young woman has now caught the coronavirus in these circumstances while her detention order has been extended during all this time in jail. We went to Mr. Moghiseh’s office (presiding judge in the case) many times and asked him to cancel the detention order and grant bail instead but the judge said no.’”

He further revealed that several accused on similar charges have been temporarily released, but what is happening with Fathemeh Khishvand is unfair. “And now that the coronavirus has spread, we keep looking for Mr. Moghiseh but we can’t find him in the courthouse. They say he’s there, but we haven’t seen him,” the lawyer continued, arguing that the responsibility for Khishvand’s state behind bars entirely rests upon the presiding judge,” he adds.

However, the jail officials in contrast claim that the Insta star had no infection and “no sense to deny this”. He concluded that they would also need “the prison director should acknowledge the infection.”

For the unversed, Angelina Jolie’s look alike was arrested on the charges of blasphemy, incitement to corruption by encouraging youth to engage in lunacy, corruption on Earth, and acquiring an illicit income.
