Canadian actor Kenneth Mitchell passed away on Saturday, February 24. The actor’s grieving family shared the tragic news from Mitchell’s social media handle. Mitchell was born on November 25, 1974. He was in the movie Miracle alongside Kurt Russell. He then appeared as Eric Green in the television drama Jericho. In Star Trek Discovery, Mitchell played three recurring Klingon characters. In 2019, he played the role of Joseph Danvers in Marvel’s Captain Marvel, starring Brie Larson. He had been a part of several other films and television programs.

As per reports, Captain Marvel star Kenneth Mitchell was diagnosed with ALS, and he revealed his diagnosis in an interview with People Magazine in 2020. ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a neurological disorder that causes paralysis and death. Kenneth lived in Los Angeles with his wife, Susan May Pratt, who is also an actress. They have two children.
