Just a few days more and Avengers: Endgame will complete a year of its release. The memories of this worldwide blockbuster by Marvel Cinematic Universe are still fresh in fans’ minds. In the film, to kill Thanos, the makers killed one of our favourite superheroes, Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr.
In the climax of Endgame, during the final battle with Thanos (Josh Brolin), Iron Man manages to take infinity stones from him and snaps his fingers. As a result, Thanos and his huge army turn into dust. However, due to the impact of the 6 stones was so powerful that Tony Stark’s character ended up losing his life.
Till date, fans question Marvel that why did they decide to kill Iron Man and not Captain America or anyone else. Our Avengers: Endgame Trivia #27 today is about RDJ’s characters death and the reason for the same.

Avengers: Endgame writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus had revealed the reason why Iron Man had to die in the film. McFeely told NY Times, “Everyone knew this was going to be the end of Tony Stark. The watchword was, end this chapter, and he started the chapter.”
Markus stated, “I don’t think there were any mandates. If we had a good reason to not do it, certainly people would have entertained it.”
