Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is gaining good traction at the Indian box office after a decent start on Friday. On Saturday, the film witnessed healthy growth, hinting towards a respectable weekend run. Today, being a Sunday, is there another jump on the cards? Well, the signs are positive, with a graph of advance booking on day 3 pointing upwards! Keep reading to know more.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya picks up the pace!

Shahid and Kriti’s romcom had a minimal buzz around it. Of course, the music grabbed eyeballs, but it wasn’t a sort of chartbuster album. Still, eyes were set on the film’s performance as there was a need for a good comeback from Bollywood after an underwhelming box office performance of Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, and it seems that the romcom is going in the right direction.

Coming to the advance booking report of day 3, the film has witnessed growth once again and has sold tickets worth 3.35 crores gross (excluding blocked seats) across the country before the first show began today. As compared to yesterday’s 2.75 crores gross, it’s a decent jump of 22%.

A good score is on the cards

With 2.75 crores gross coming in through the advance booking, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya did a business of almost 10 crores (estimates) yesterday. So, today, the film would be eyeing a score in north of 12 crores. Of course, a bigger jump could also be seen, but we’re keeping our expectations minimal as in the night shows, the Sunday curse will come into play, and occupancies throughout the country will witness a dip.

Yesterday, the film picked up really well in the evening and night shows, resulting in an overall healthy score. But that won’t be the case today, at least for the night shows. Still, it has a chance to shine by compensating for the loss of the Sunday curse through morning and afternoon shows. Let’s see how the story unfolds.
