Aamir Khan & Secret Superstar: A combo representing India on a mammoth level in China at its box office. Surpassing records, beating many International movies to stay amongst the top – this movie is unstoppable for now. There is an achievement which is really special for this film.
In China the movie has collected USD $ 52.66 million in just under a week which is a huge achievement in itself. But there is something more than that. Including the pre-China collections of overseas (USD $ 11 million) the movie now stands at the grand total of USD $ 52.66 million in overseas.
Aamir Khan’s PK which was released in 2017 in China had collected USD $ 47.2 million in overseas during its lifetime. Secret Superstar with the backing of monumental collections of China has crossed the overseas collections of PK. Crossing PK is double-the-special for two reasons – Aamir Khan has surpassed himself in the list and PK was a super-successful in India.

Secret Superstar also did exceedingly well for its tight budget in India. But overseas has totally changed the game for the film. Crossing a film like PK is no fun-game for any movie.
