Raid Box Office Collections: Another Success For Ajay Devgn After Golmaal Again

Raid has emerged as yet another success story this season. 2018 has been good so far in terms of films attracting audiences and now Raid has joined the list. The film collected 6.26 crore more on Monday and this is fine considering the Friday collections of 10.04 crore.

Currently standing around 47.27 crore, the film is now set to have the first week of over 60 crore which would bring it well into the profitable zone. It was pretty much the need of the hour for the Ajay Devgn starrer to drop less than 50% on Monday so that it can have a healthy lifetime ahead. This was on the cards as well if one looks at the trending that the Raj Kumar Gupta directed film enjoyed over the weekend.

Yes, had the collections been closer to the 7 crore mark, it would have been all the more exciting for all associated with the film as that would have assured a 100 crore run for Raid. However, all said and done, Raid is still a success story and now it would be interesting to see where does it land up once the second-weekend kickstarts.

The film is now another back to back success for Ajay Devgn after Golmaal Again and with a couple of more films lined up for the superstar in 2018, it is going to be an engaging year for him for sure.
