Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan was doing great business at the Domestic as well as Overseas Box Office till last week. However, the collection started affecting badly to a major extent in its third weekend. Reason? Due to the release of Aamir Khan’s much awaited film of the year – Talaash.

It was earlier predicted by the trade analysts that the release of Talaash and later with Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi 786 arriving back to back will occupy large screen space for themselves, ultimately resulting to a bad business fate for the Yash Chopra directorial.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan in its 3rd weekend made a business of approximately 2 crores nett. The movie now stands at a domestic total of 119.05 crores at the Box Office. This may end up being the last breath for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer at the Domestic front, as this week’s release Khiladi 786 will halt its business completely.

  1. the movie is now 119.7 crores, it can surpass barfi and even agneepath without solo release and surpass ready 121 crores too

  2. I hope JTHJ 7th Dec tak baqi k 1 crore collect kar jayega. aur Agneepath k baad Ajayega Number 4 par. but I think JTHJ ne ab b bohot zabardast business kiya. bcz JTHJ aur SOS same day release hoye they phir b 120cr tak jana bohot success hai. but overseas mey JTHJ ne already new records set kiye hain jis se aik baar phir sabit howa k Shahrukh is a Global King. Pori dunya k log usey dekhna chahte hain. so, Wish u Best of luck Shahrukh for your Upcoming “CHENNAI EXPRESS”.

  3. Released in 2600 Screens (Less Tha ETT 3600),
Clash With SOS…. Which divided the Foot Falls….
Diwali Day…. Evening Night Shows Effected by Diwali Puja….
Saturday, Sunday Monday, Maharashtra band because of bal Thackrey ji….

I Think As Per My Calculation It Has lost almost 20-25 cr. because of Diwali Puja and 3 days band….

Still Able to Collect 120 cr. nett at Indian Box Office???? What would have happend if it releases on EID like ETT????

    • u forgot d wednesday and thursday holidays it got due to diwali wich d film cudnt capitalize….moreover u forgot d death of yashji wich proved to be a blessing in disguise for d film…still it collected only 120 cr dis shows it is below par!

    • you could argue the same for SOS which released with even less screens and on B and C centers it still did over 100cr. I would suggest this movie has lost at least 30-35 cr due to this.
