Grand Masti has perhaps done the unexpected. The film that was made on a medium budget earned over 6 crores in its 3rd weekend as per the final collections. With that the film has so far accumulated a total moolah of 95.25 crores at the domestic box office.

The film’s current profit stands at 207% and the film has beaten the profit rate of Chennai Express that had zeroed on 202% at the domestic box office. The movie now stands at No. 5 position at Koimoi’s List of Movies With Best ROI (2013). Given that Chennai Express has been a record smasher at the domestic box office by gathering the highest collections ever recorded by a Bollywood film, Grand Masti has done a commendable job at beating it by emerging as a bigger winner in terms of profit earned by the venture!
