Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 Fails to Impress at the Box Office

Gangs of Wasseypur 2 made an approx 2.80 Crores on it’s 1st day at the Box Office. The film which had made just 0.30 Crores via paid previews on Tuesday failed to show any significant impact on the Indian box office. Gangs of Wasseypur 2 opened to an average occupancy of about 30% across the country. The occupancy was higher in metros and lower in non urban areas. Needless to say the 1st day collections of sequel was less than Gangs of Wasseypur. The total collection of Gangs of Wasseypur so far is about 3 Crores.

It is surprising to note that a few centers where Gangs of Wasseypur actually did well failed to redo the act for it’s sequel. The movie has got mixed responses from critics and it seems that can work either ways for the film. However, the movie is not expected to be a major box office grosser.
