Fighter hit the theatre screens on January 25, 2024. The Republic Day release received a lukewarm response in India, while the collections have been decent in the overseas markets. The film enjoyed a lot of hype because of the fresh pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Siddharth Anand also curated a lot of curiosity among viewers after the blockbuster success of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. Fans were eager to know what new he would bring to the table, and well, he did not disappoint with his aerial action drama.
Fighter Box Office Collection
At the domestic box office, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer has made total collections of about 203.10 crores. The collections should have been better, given the star-studded cast. There also wasn’t any competition at the box office, which provided a freeway to success.
However, Fighter did manage to become the first film of 2024 to enter the 200 crore club. It also beat HanuMan, which is yet to achieve that feat despite massive praises and footfalls.
Fighter Worldwide Box Office Collection
Talking about the global run, Fighter, as per estimates, has made total earnings of 239.65 crores gross in the domestic market. The film is close to entering the 100 crore club in the overseas market. The international total currently stands at 97 crores gross.
The worldwide collections after 22 days come close to around 336.65 crores gross.
Fighter Beats Uri: The Surgical Strike
Vicky Kaushal led Uri: The Surgical Strike was a big success not just in India but also in the international circuit. The war film made worldwide collections of 335.99 crores gross. And that feat has been crossed by Fighter by a small margin.
It is to be noted that the Siddharth Anand directorial is still running in theatres across the globe. So many more milestones are expected to be unlocked in the coming days.
