Tom’s film is one of the top 20 highest-grossing Hollywood films in the region. Pitt’s film might not witness such a big success, but it will have an impressive run overall. This sports car drama is headed towards the $200 million milestone at the worldwide box office.
According to reports, F1 collected $1.5 million on its second Friday at the box office in China, a decline of -44.4% from last Friday when it opened in the theaters. The opening day number included five days of previews. The sports drama hit a $15.6 million cume in eight days at the box office in China.

Brad Pitt’s movie collected $4950K in pre-sales for today, its second Saturday. It is playing 18K screenings, losing 30K from last week. It is reportedly expected to earn between $6.5 million and $7.5 million on its second three-day weekend in China. The film is also projected to witness a 28%- 11% drop, making it one of the best holds post-COVID for a Hollywood film in China.
F1 collected $83.45 million at the North American box office, including $6.06 million on its first Thursday, one of the biggest in Brad Pitt‘s career. Internationally, it has raked in $89.3 million, which is what it earned on its opening weekend. Thus, the worldwide total of the movie is $172.75 million, and it is chasing the $200 million milestone this weekend. F1 was released last week on June 27.
