2,900 shows reduced
With several new films arriving in theaters, the magnum opus has witnessed an expected drop in the show count. Yesterday, on day 15, it had 15,900 shows scheduled across the country, and today, on day 16, the show count has been reduced by 2,900, standing at 13,000. The reduction of shows will definitely impact collections, but since there’s still interest in the film, it will continue to perform strongly.
Dhurandhar 2 grosses over 10 crore through day 16 advance booking
Coming to the advance booking update of 16, Dhurandhar 2 has sold 3.8 lakh tickets, up 40.74% from yesterday’s 2.7 lakh tickets. In terms of collections, it has grossed 10.62 crore (excluding blocked seats) at the Indian box office through pre-sales of the third Friday. In net collections, it equals 9 crore, a jump of 16.58% from yesterday’s 7.72 crore net.

Due to the Good Friday holiday, pre-sales are already strong, and a good turnout of audiences is expected through over-the-counter ticket sales. With this, Dhurandhar 2 is likely to score 21-22 crore net in all languages, while the Hindi version alone is likely to make 19-20 crore net at the Indian box office.
Dhurandhar holds the record for the biggest third Friday with 23.7 crore net, which is likely to stay unbeaten. So, the Dhurandhar sequel is heading for the second-biggest third Friday at the Indian box office. It’ll comfortably overtake Baahubali 2 (18 crore net) and Pushpa 2 (14 crore net).
