Tanu Weds Manu Returns Box Office: The sequel to 2011 rom-com Tanu Weds Manu, TWMR was a Super-Duper Hit. The film starring Kangana Ranaut & R. Madhavan in lead received extremely positive word of mouth from the audience upon release and trended very well.

The opening of the Aanand L Rai film was decent as it collected 8.85 crores on Day 1 but it picked up immensely well from there. In the weekend the film collected 38.15 crores and by the end of the first week, the total reached 70.02 crores. The film remained rock steady for the next few weeks and ended up doing a lifetime business of 152 crores.
