The veteran actor Rishi Kapoor left everyone in a state of sadness as he passed away today. Rishi was suffering from cancer and got back from New York last year after treatment. From the past two weeks, he was again hospitalized and was shifted to ICU last night.

The father of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and husband of actress Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor was seen in The Body last year and was expected to make a comeback with The Intern remake.

Rishi Kapoor did his first film as a child actor in 1955 in Raj Kapoor’s film Shree 420. It was a small appearance in Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua song. Later he also worked in 1970 film Mera Naam Joker. But it was in 1973 film Bobby, that he was made a debut as a lead actor. The film was a strong hit.

Later Rishi Kapoor emerged one of the top stars of that time and gave several big hits in the era of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Rishi Kapoor has been active in the industry till now and gave several noteworthy films.
