Box Office: Housefull 3 All Set To Have Biggest Week One For Bollywood Comedies

Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan’s multi-starrer Housefull 3 is all set to have the Biggest Week One for comedies being churned out in Bollywood.

With a good hold demonstrated on Monday [8.25 crore], the total currently stands at 61.56 crore. As a result, the Sajid-Farhad directed film is on its way to emerge as a winner after its Week One.

Collections of some of the biggest comedies so far have been as follows and Housefull 3 should comfortably surpass them all before it enters its second week.

Singh Is Bliing – 77.6 crore
Welcome Back – 74.02 crore
Ready – 69 crore
Bol Bachchan – 66.72 crore
Grand Masti – 65.51 crore
Housefull 2 – 64.2 crore
Golmaal 3 – 62 crore
Housefull 3 – 61.56 crore [4 days]

Surprisingly, the two films at the top [Singh Is Bliing, Welcome Back] couldn’t cross the 100 crore barrier despite the best weekend collections amongst them all.

However, Housefull 3 is not expected to face that hurdle, more so since there are no family entertainers till the release of Sultan [6th July].
