Fans were recently excited when Kareena Kapoor Khan, in one of her interviews, hinted at starting to work on a very successful South Indian film. Reports were rife that the actress was being paid a huge amount to be cast opposite the KGF superstar Yash. This would have been Bebo’s South Indian debut. In fact, her first pan-India film.
However, there were rumors about Triptii Dimri being considered for the film being helmed by Geetu Mohandas. The team was very excited and keen on a North-South Collaboration.

But now reports suggest that not Kareena Kapoor Khan but Kiara Advani has been finalized to play Yash’s love interest in Toxic. The film is said to be a fairy tale of grown-ups. It would have been Yash’s first collaboration with a Hindi film heroine as a lead pair as well. However, now Bebo might not be a part of the film.
The rumors drop despite Kareena Kapoor Khan hinting at a big South Indian collaboration in one of her recent interviews. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani’s name has also been associated with Ram Charan’s film Game Changer, apart from Hrithik Roshan & Jr NTR’s War 2 and Ranveer Singh’s Don 3.

Even earlier, there were reports that Bebo was not a part of the film. A source close to the film was quoted by Times Now then, who confessed that Kareena does not fit in the project at all. She will not look compatible with Yash. In fact, she was never even considered.

However, this is not the first time when news of Kareena almost being confirmed for a project has dropped in, and then the next set of reports clarified that she is not a part of the film. Here are five recent instances.
1. The 12 Crore Rumor
It was rumored that a film called Sita is being written by KV Vijayendra & Manoj Muntashir, which will be from Devi Sita’s perspective. Kareena Kapoor Khan was said to be paid 12 crore for the film. However, Bebo later denied being a part of any such film, and later, Kangana Ranaut was finalized for the cast.

2. The Demand Rumor
It was rumored that Rajkumar Hirani is approaching Kajol and Kareena Kapoor Khan for two heroine roles in his Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. Rumors also suggested that Hirani dropped Kareena’s name after listening to her paycheck demand, which was unaffordable for his film. Kareena later refuted the rumors in an interview with Mumbai Mirror and said, “No, that’s not true. I love and respect Shah Rukh immensely and would love to work with him again. But there’s nothing happening at the moment.”

3. The Date Rumor
It was said that after Priyanka Chopra Jonas walked out of Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara, Kareena Kapoor Khan was the obvious next choice, but she did not show interest since she was already a part of the actress trio in Crew. She passed on the offer. She also mentioned scheduling issues for the film.

Apart from these films, it was rumored that the Asoka actress was a part of Rakesh Sharma’s biopic when Aamir Khan was playing the lead, but she stepped out of the project once Shah Rukh Khan replaced Aamir in the film.
