While temperatures are always high in the IPL fever, this time the heat is on for hosting the IPL 2014 final. In a confusion over hosting the final match either at Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy stadium or Mumbai’s Wankhede, IPL Chairman Rajnib Biswal has now written to Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) putting forth several conditions that need to be met up with if Mumbai is to host the finals.

In one of the clauses stated by the Chairman, there is a clear statement on allowing all team franchisees an entry at the venue. The reason for adding this condition was probably to lift the 5 year ban on actor Shah Rukh Khan that was posed on him for his scuffle with the security at Wankhede stadium in 2012.
If these conditions are met with, SRK will be soon flaunting his purple shades of KKR at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Well, we must say fate is favoring Shah Rukh Khan as even the eliminator match which was earlier supposed to happen at Wankhede has now moved to Brabourne Stadium, so that the team owner can watch his team perform.
It  seems the stage is set for KKR to enter the finals with Shah Rukh sitting in stands, whether Wankhede or any other stadium. Well, star power rules and all we can wish SRK and KKR is ‘korbo, lorbo, jeetbo’!
