From a student filmmaker in FTII to smashing box-office records with 3 Idiots, Vidhu Vinod Chopra has come a long way. The last thirty years have been an incredible journey for Vinod Chopra Films. No wonder then, that Vinod Chopra Films have announced a retrospective of their films in association with PVR Pictures.
The event titled ‘The Idea That Survived: A Retrospective’, will be held in PVR Cinemas across the country between 29 March and 4 April 2012. The festival will see screenings of almost all the titles produced under the VCF banner over the years over a span of 6 days. Audiences can catch unforgettable classics like 1942: A Love Story, Parinda and Munna Bhai among others.
