Will Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai Become The Highest Opening Grosser Of 2017?
Tiger Zinda Hai Box Office: Where This Salman Khan Starrer Will Land In The Highest Opening Weekends Of 2017?

Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai is releasing on 22 December and the advance booking has started from today onward. This is going to help in films’ first day collection as well as its first weekend. Though, the advance booking option has been started in just few theatres, but the kind of response it’s been getting is thunderous!

At most of the places 60-70% seats have been booked in just a day. So we can just imagine that Tiger Zinda Hai will enjoy an amazing first weekend.

Speaking about Salman’s earlier films, this year we saw Tubelight tanked at the box office but if we see its opening weekend numbers, it collected a decent amount of 64.77 crore. Whereas if we see Salman and Ali’s Sultan, the film had entered the 300 crore club and the duo managed to leave a mark on the audiences with some great content. Sultan was at the top in the list of highest weekend grosser of 2017. Sultan enjoyed a 5 day opening weekend; it was 180.36 crores. It gave a tough competition to Aamir Khan’s Dangal.

With Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman and Ali’s magic will be retained as we have already seen the trailer of the film. As well all know that Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, if we speak about latter’s opening weekend collections, then in 2012 too it had rocked the box office. Ek Tha Tiger had collected 116.05 crores in its first week. So, this definitely raises a bar for Tiger Zinda Hai.

If we see the films of 2017, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 broke all the records and went on to become the highest opening grosser as well as the most profitable film of the year. Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again are the clear winners of the top weekend grosser of 2017. Raees collected 93.24 crores as it was a 5 days weekend, while Golmaal Again gathered 87.60 crores in its first weekend.

With Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati’s postponement, now all the eyes are on Tiger Zinda Hai. Since it’s a solo release and it will get a good 2-3 weeks run at the box office, it will fly high with some huge numbers!
