Actress Tanishaa Mukerji is all set to return to the silver screen after a long hiatus with Eshwar Gunturu's, Code Name Abdul.

Actress Tanishaa Mukerji is all set to return to the silver screen after a long hiatus. The former Bigg Boss contestant will be playing a pivotal role in the film “Code Name Abdul“.

Directed by Eshwar Gunturu, Code Name Abdul revolves around a secret mission given to  the Research and Analysis Wing(RAW). Tanishaa is playing the lead in the film that also features budding actor Akku Kulhari.

Talking about her role in the film, Tanishaa has been quoted by IANS saying, “This is the first time I am doing something in the action thriller space. I am very excited for this project. I have explored a explored a different part of myself through this film.”

Tanishaa, who is veteran actress Tanuja’s daughter and Kajol Devgn’s sister has earlier featured in films like “Neal N Nikki” and “Tango Charlie“.
