Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14th June. The actor died by suicide and left a void in all our hearts. But undoubtedly, the most affected remained to be his family members. After waiting for the Mumbai Police to come up with their investigation results, they finally took a big step yesterday. Sushant’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for abetting his suicide.
For a long time now, many were left wondering why the family wasn’t taking any action. Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman even questioned the family in one of his statements. But now, a six-page long FIR containing as many as 5 IPC sections have been charged against girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
Amidst it all, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has also broken her silence. Shweta, is based in the US, and reached days after her brother’s funeral. She has been quite active on social media and shares emotional anecdotes of their sweet relationship. But this time, she’s demanding justice.
Shweta Singh Kirti posted a picture of Sushant Singh Rajput. One could notice a diya in front of the photo frame and the entire area decorated with white flowers as they prayed for him. But it was her caption that caught all the attention.
“Verified If truth doesn’t matter, nothing ever will! #justiceforsushantsinghrajput,” wrote Shweta.
That’s not it! Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister even asked all the fans to not use cuss words. Shweta Singh Kirti mentioned how one should never stop standing for what is right.
“I request don’t use bad language for anyone…but never stop standing up for the RIGHT,” read her other comment.
Meanwhile, it was just yesterday when a user questioned Shweta to why the family wasn’t seeking a CBI probe. To this, Shweta Singh Kriti replied, “We were waiting for Mumbai police to finish the investigation and come up with their reports.”
