Sanjay Dutt is one of the most loved stars this industry has witnessed but his stardom saw a decline when the actor was caught in the Bombay Bomb Blast case of 1993 after an AK-57 rifle was discovered from his place, which the actor allegedly has possessed to keep his family safe amid the riots that broke in the country after the Babri Masjid Demolition.

This led to the Leo actor serve a jail term and the superstar recently recalled the time during his appearance on the upcoming adventurous culinary show ‘Star vs Food Survival’. Sanju, spoke about serving his jail time at the Yerwada jail in Pune.

Talking about the difficult time in his life, the actor said: “The first time I went to jail if you see the photographs outside Thane jail – Anna (Suniel Shetty), Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, everybody came and wished me well. I had no respite from serving jail time, so why overthink it? I had to make up my mind that yes I had to go. I have to face it.”
