In India, Pathaan garnered a whopping 543.22 crores. It was released ahead of Republic Day and scored a smashing comeback for SRK after the Zero debacle in 2018. A sequel is now on the cards that will mark the fifth film in the YRF spy universe. It is also a crucial film as it will set the timeline for Salman Khan vs Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan.

What is YRF’s budget for Pathaan 2?
Pathaan was made on a budget of 250 crores and made enough returns to gain the hit verdict at the Indian box office. As per the latest rumors, YRF is splurging a staggering 75 crores in addition to taking Pathaan 2 to the next level in terms of direction, VFX, and other technical aspects.
This means Pathaan 2 will be made on a staggering budget of 325 crores. YRF also reportedly plans to shoot the action sequences at outdoor locations, unlike the first film in the franchise. Shah Rukh Khan starrer will get bigger and better, and we certainly cannot wait for the action spectacle.
