And people are already guessing that Ambanis would splurge the same amount for their wedding as well. This takes their wedding total to somewhere close to 2000 crore. That would make any head spin. However, while celebs cannot match this extravaganza for sure, they still spend fortunes on their weddings.

Right from Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh to Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Bollywood celebrities have made heads turn with their extravagant weddings. While some opted for royal wedding destinations, others went for a traditional wedding, but the only thing common in these weddings.

Ranbir & Alia ditched all the fancy destinations and chose to get hitched at the apartment Vastu. Still, the wedding lacked nothing, and they splurged as high as 2.5 crore on this intimate wedding.

9. Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra – 4 crore

Shilpa & Raj married in a traditional Mangalorean style but not without the extravagant bling and glamor, which amounted to approximately 4 crore.

8. Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas – 5 crore

Priyanka & Nick got hitched at Umaid Bhavan, which charges 64 lakhs per night. The five-day festivity might have cost a fortune! The entire wedding is estimated to be somewhere around 5 crore, and Nick even joked about the wedding bills in one of his interviews.

Vickat got hitched at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai, and their destination wedding amounted to 6 – 7 crore. The guests occupied suites that cost 5 lakh per night. And a guest list of around 80+ guests would have cost them more than 4 crore.

4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Abhishek Bachchan – 9 crore

Aish and Abhishek got hitched in the most elaborate yet traditional way. While the wedding took place at their residence, the glory was never compromised. From heavy gold jewelry to other festivities, this wedding amounted to a whopping 9 crore, as per Bollywood Life.

3. Kareena Kapoor Khan & Saif Ali Khan – 10 crore

When Bebo became Begum to the Prince of Pataudi Palace, the wedding had to be a gala affair. Right from her 50 lakh worth of lehenga to VIP venues, everything was spot-on royal! And in all, it was a 10 crore affair according to Times of India!

2. Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh – 77 crore

DP & Ranveer got married at Lake Como in Italy, and their wedding was an extravagant affair. They got married at Villa Del Balbianello, which charges 24 – 27 lakh per night for a single room.
