The trailer of Amal Neerad’s film Bachelor Party D’eux is out! It is undoubtedly a film that many are awaiting to watch on the big screen. For the unversed, this is a sequel, or rather a spiritual sequel, to Amal Neerad’s 2012 film Bachelor Party. The film, to date, is loved by movie-going audiences. The action-comedy film by Amal had a sense of novelty to it and a cast that comprised some of the young and popular actors of the day. It also featured some seasoned stars. Similarly, Bachelor Party D’eux has quite an interesting mix of actors from Mollywood.
Bachelor Party D’eux Trailer
The upcoming Mollywood film has so far failed to live up to the hype with its posters and music. The announcement of the film generated a wave of excitement among fans, with each character getting an individual poster introduction. Now, with the trailer out, has it managed to raise the excitement?

Edited to 2 minutes and 10 seconds, the trailer is short and does not reveal anything about the plot. It focuses on showcasing the cast members and establishing their style and swag as they partake in illegal and criminal activities. There are a lot of slow-motion walks, guns blazing, and drugs that seem to be central to the plot. The film has a dark tone, reflecting the mood of the story, which is presumably set in Kochi, Kerala. The trailer also promises intense gang wars, heavy dialogues and some intimate moments.
Lot of Style But Where Is the Thrill?
One of the biggest highlights of the film is that it is made by Amal Neerad, who is known for his stylised action films. He is the creative mind behind films like Big B, Bheeshma Parvam, Anwar, Bilal and Bougainvillea. While the trailer boasts the style and swag that the first part of Bachelor Party is known for, the second part does not seem novel anymore. The two-minute trailer fails to generate the kind of excitement that would draw audiences to the theatres.
While it may seem premature to judge a film by its trailer, it is definitely a key promotional material that drives audiences to the theatres. The film boasts a varied mix of cast members, including Kunchacko Boban, Naslen, Sreenath Bhasi, Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, Shine Tom Chacko, Haniska Krishna, Rajisha Vijayan, Nadia Moidu, Jyothirmayi, Chandu Salimkumar and Tovino Thomas. While it seems like an exciting prospect, in a bid to give screen time to every character in the trailer, it seemingly does a disservice to the film by failing to generate excitement.
In films with themes of gangsters, the mafia and more, music plays a vital role. However, so far, the compositions by Christo Xavier have not hit the right note. Now, everything depends on the upcoming promotional assets of the film.
Bachelor Party D’eux will be released in theaters on November 27.
