Suriya is back with his third film of the year after Karuppu and Vishwanath & Sons. However, the actor is returning in a completely different avatar from his previous two films. Dressed in shorts and a vibrant T-shirt, Suriya surely knows how to effortlessly age backward while still retaining his charm. Meanwhile, for his next film, director Jithu Madhavan, of Malayalam fame and the director of Aavesham, has packed up his team in Kerala and set up camp in Tamil Nadu. The film also stars Nazriya Nazim, Lal, and Naslen, who makes his Kollywood debut.

Jithu Madhavan’s next film, after the success of the Fahadh Faasil-starrer Aavesham, seems to be in a similar vein to his previous film. The trailer of the upcoming film promises a lot of fun, quirkiness, and much more. The combination of Suriya, Nazriya and Naslen already seems like a hit-making factor.

The trailer of Scene begins with the introduction of Suriya as Inbaraj. He submits his resignation as a senior police officer, which leaves everyone in shock. He is considered a legend in the force, but now he has decided to leave it all behind for another ambitious path – politics. However, after leaving the force, he stops caring about the consequences and becomes a headache for the police.

Actor Lal plays Suriya‘s boss at the police station and decides to bring in an opponent who can match Suriya’s craziness. In comes Naslen, all style, swag, and a psycho mind. This is the first time Naslen is playing an out-and-out antagonist, and the role seems to suit him well. Adding to the chaos is Nazriya as Maya, who is hired by Suriya as his house help. However, she is no ordinary house help and can pack a punch when required.

The Scene trailer raises enough excitement with its quirky characters. The trailer has been well-cut, as it does not reveal the plot but gives away enough to get you excited. With its vibrant tonality, fun elements, action sequences, and apt music by Sushin Shyam, this already looks like a Diwali dhamaka to be witnessed on the big screen.

Scene will be released in theaters on November 6 and will clash with Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2 at the Kollywood box office!
