Amruta Fadnavis Talks About Gondhal

Amruta Fadnavis said, “It is a proud moment for us, for Maharashtra. Congratulations to the entire team, and special mention to Santosh ji for such beautiful storytelling. After a long while, a Marathi film has been selected as India’s official entry into the Oscars. Gondhal is a rustic, gripping tale that highlights the traditions of a village; it shows how society wants to oppress women, but women outshine and showcase their personality. The cinematography, music, and direction perfectly sync with one another. Definitely an inspiration for all of us.”
