Laxmmi Bomb: Akshay Kumar Starrer To NOT Release On Disney Plus Hotstar?

Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb has been due for a long time now. Facing the wrath of the pandemic, the film that was supposed to have a May 2020 release came to an abrupt halt. Later it was announced that the film will release straight on Disney Plus Hotstar. But now as per the latest reports, it is being said that the makers have backed out from a digital release. For the unversed, it was by June 2020 end when Akshay Kumar and a group of other actors announced seven films to release straight on Disney Plus Hotstar. Later it was said that the actor’s Raghava Lawrence directorial is set for a September 9 release, which is Kumar’s birthday. But it missed the date.

Now as per reports doing rounds on social media, it is being said that Laxmmi Bomb makers are now negotiating their OTT release decision. The makers are now planning to not release it on digital but wait for the theatres to re-open. The move as per the buzz is due to the financial pressure the film is in and the tremendous buzz that it has created.
