A lot has been happening in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. While everyone in collective is seeking for justice, there are two sides now. On one – fans, family members and certain celebs have been blaming Rhea Chakraborty for everything. Others, on the other side, have been asking for a fair media trial. Shatrughan Sinha has sided himself with the latter opinion.
This is not the first time that the veteran actor has spoken in the matter. Previously too, he spoke up and backed Rhea. Now, in a recent interaction, Sinha has a hard-hitting question for SSR fans. Not only that, but the actor has also asked the public not to influence government bodies.
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Shatrughan Sinha began, “I don’t know the girl. But I do know that she was close to Sushant Singh Rajput. I want to ask Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans: do you think he would be pleased with the treatment being given to her?”
Shatrughan Sinha also claimed that a lot of actors have been using Sushant Singh Rajput & Rhea Chakraborty‘s matter for publicity. “I’ve noticed there are many elements voicing their opinion on the Sushant case. Some of them haven’t been in the news for a while. They see this as their chance to become relevant again. That’s really sad,” added the veteran actor.
Concluding his statement, Shatrughan requested for a fair trial. He said, “And by trial I don’t mean trial by media. There is a trusted and respected judicial system in India. Let them decide whether she’s guilty or not. The CBI is investigating the case. Let them do their job. Please do not try to influence governmental agencies.”
