Kartik Aaryan Wishes To Play A Character Like Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is at the top of his game and is riding high on the success of his latest release, Pati Patni Aur Woh. The actor who is surrounded by interesting projects recently expressed his wish and wants to do a character as complex and amazing as Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.

Kartik Aaryan became a household name post the release of his film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. This year the actor had back to back successes that made him a bankable name.

The actor who has been playing the next-door boy frequently when asked wants to explore the drama space, and do a character like the recently released and already a cult film Joker.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, he said, “After Pyaar Ka Punchnama, a lot of comedy scripts came my way. But I would never leave good scripts, which is why I wanted to do Pati Patni Aur Woh, Luka Chuppi and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. These films got me love and fan-following and I want to continue with that genre. Having said that, I would love to explore the drama space as well, play a character like Joker (Joaquin Phoenix in the recent Todd Phillips directorial) and do an action film.”
