Director Sujeeth Opens Up On Saaho Backlash: “I Am Being Treated As I Have Committed A Crime”

Though the Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho amassed huge numbers at the box office, it attracted loads of trolls and memes. It fetched severe criticism for its flawed screenplay and dragged run time. With all such backlash coming on the way of the movie, seems like director Sujeeth is deeply affected.

During an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Sujeeth spilled the beans on the negativity on Saaho. He said, ” I made the film that Prabhas sir, my producers, and I believed in. The audiences came in large numbers to watch it, but still, I am being treated as harshly as if I have committed a crime. I don’t know why all these reports targeting me are being published. I last gave interviews one day after the release of Saaho. Even when I say ‘no comments’, it is turned into an interview. And those quotes are now being used against me.”
