The protests in Delhi took a violent turn and brutal clashes between Jamia Millia students and Delhi police were reported. While the brutal protests have been trending on social media ever since superstar Akshay Kumar hit the controversy recently.
The superstar who is promoting his upcoming film Good Newwz apparently liked a pro-Jamia Millia students post and the screenshots soon went viral.

As Akshay saw the things slipping out of hands, he took to Twitter and wrote that he liked the post by mistake and doesn’t support such acts. He wrote, “Regarding the ‘like’ on the tweet of Jamia Milia students, it was by mistake. I was scrolling and accidentally it must have been pressed and when I realised I immediately unliked it as In no way do I support such acts.”
