The outbreak of Coronavirus has left people across the globe in misery. The deadly virus has so far claimed over 4000 lives around the world and over 112,000 cases have been registered which also includes India in the list. The number of Coronavirus cases in India has crossed 60. Out of which 15 cases are from Kerala.

Following the fear of fastly spreading epidemic and instead of running film shows in empty theatres which will eventually lead to losses, various Malayalam cinema organizations gathered for a meeting in Kochi thereby coming up with the decision to keep theaters shut all across Kerala till 31st March.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan took to his Twitter handle to announce that all public programs including theatres and educational institutes in the state will be kept closed.

As per various reports, following the above move by Kerala Government, there are high possibilities for the release date of Mohanlal starrer Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham getting pushed to another date.

The Mohanlal starrer period drama which is been helmed by Priyadarshan happens to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year in Mollywood.
