It’s been over two months since the 66th National Film Awards were announced, and actor Chandrachoor Rai, who received a Special Mention for his film Kadakh, still cannot get over the surprise. He feels the feat will give his acting career a boost.

“It is not often that an actor with such a nascent career is put in the pages of history by being awarded the National Award. I read through the recipients of the award that I got. It is a shot in the arm. ‘Kadakh’ will remain a favourite for a long time,” Chandrachoor told IANS.
