Poor Things Plot or Synopsis
The story is about Bella Baxter, who is not like everyone. A surgeon named Godwin Baxter replaced her brain with the brain of an unborn fetus that had grown in the body of a woman named Victoria. Victoria had killed herself, so Godwin decided to “experiment” with saving the life using Bella’s body.
One day, Max McCandles, Godwin’s assistant, asks Bella to marry him. When Bella agrees to marry Max, her brain develops faster than expected. She realises that there’s a world outside, and she wants to explore the same. That’s when she eloped with Duncan Wedderbun, an immoral lawyer. But that doesn’t stop Godwin from experimenting with another woman the same way. What will be the outcome of such complex characters and narratives? That’s something we will have to find out in the film.
