Today, Akshay Kumar along with Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda launched the trailer of Housefull 4 in Mumbai. The film is helmed by Farhad Samji. Earlier the film was being directed by Sajid Khan and also starred Nana Patekar in a pivotal role. However, after the alleged #MeToo accusations on them, they were dissociated from the film.

At the trailer launch today, Akshay Kumar was asked that the #MeToo movement began in Bollywood with accusations on these two associated with the film. So what changes has he seen in the film industry post #MeToo.

Akshay told the journalists, “There have been a lot of changes. When we were making the film Mission Mangal (the production house) and every other company that I know, whether it’s Sajid Nadiadwala’s company and in every production, there are sexual harassment officers. They are all there and they make sure that nothing goes wrong.”

He added, “They are there to take the complaints and they know what is happening. So there has been a lot of security done. We don’t what any kind of misbehaving happening. So a lot of changes have happened.’
