Actor Imran Khan is happy with the response to his work in Vishal Bhardwaj’s newly released Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola , and accepts that the role was a risk for him. However, he is glad that he stood out in presence of an actor like Pankaj Kapur.

Imran played ‘Matru Khan’ in the film, while Kapur played his boss ‘Harry Mandola’. The film deals with the issue of land scam and also stars Anushka Sharma as ‘Bijlee’.
The film has been getting good response since its release i.e. 11th January, 2013.
