Khatta Meetha is a forthcoming Hindi Movie directed by Priyadarshan which stars Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. The film is a satirical comedy. Scheduled to be released on July 23, 2010, the movie has 6 songs by Pritam. Khatta Meetha is a remake of the 1989 hit Malayalam film, Vellanakalude Nadu, also directed by Priyadarshan. Tamil actress Trisha will be seen playing the female lead role in the Hindi film for the first time opposite Akshay Kumar.
