Back in 1998 Shekhar Suman hosted a talk show Movers and Shakers which shot to fame thanks to its comic quotient and celebrity interviews. Still a newbie and one-film-old in B-town, Rani Mukerji appeared on an episode of this show during the promotion of her then upcoming film Ghulam (1998).
An overwhelmed Rani who was starring opposite Aamir Khan in her second film recounts her experience with him. Being the ever perfectionist that Aamir is, the first shot with him had Rani rather jittery which led to a very funny incident on the shoot.
The actress who got famous with this film and her rowdy number Aati kya khandala shared that it was Aamir who discovered this track which later became a cult number in Bollywood.
Often being complimented for her beautiful bong eyes, the actress says “I was born with these contact lenses.”
Find out more on Rani’s experience of working with Aamir and the funny story behind the first shot of Ghulam.
