The Witcher 2: Shooing Of Henry Cavill’s Netflix Drama Resumes, Director Shares A New Update!

While the world has not fully recovered from coronavirus pandemic, Hollywood TV industry has already begun filming their projects. The producer and director of Henry Cavill starrer The Witcher series have announced that the production on season 2 has resumed maintaining all the necessary precautions. He even shared a photo of their newly established COVID-19 communication system.

Season 1 of Netflix’s The Witcher, features Man of Steel star Henry Cavill in the lead role of Geralt of Rivia, is an adaptation of the famous novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The series turned out to be a hit for Netflix and was renewed for season 2 before the first batch of episodes had debuted. The filming of The Witcher Season 2 began after a 5 month-long hiatus.

Stephen Surjik, who will be directing the first two episodes of season 2 of The Witcher series, took to Instagram and Twitter to confirm that production has already begun. However, the scheduled start date is of August 17. The first post, shared by the director, shows the communication system used on-set to keep cast and crew separate as much as possible. While the second photo is of Surjik and Lauren Hissrich sitting in front of monitors wearing masks.
